Zite -analyzes millions of articles each day and brings you the best of your favorite magazines, newspapers, authors, blogs, and videos.
iTunes-U -students will experience the courses you build using the free iTunes U app for iPad. It’s a powerful app that lets students have all the materials for the course right at their fingertips. Great tool for differentiating instruction and for assisting students who need materials communictaed in multiple methods.
Library of Congress - take a virtual tour that mirrors a Library of Congress Experience, with award-winning groups of exhibitions and features. Other virtual field trip sites that may interest you that I have found are partnered with Google Art Project. Through Google Art Project students can take virtual field trips to museums around the world.
Khan Academy -Our library of videos covers K-12 math, science topics such as biology, chemistry, and physics, and even reaches into the humanities with playlists on finance and history.
History Maps of the World- students can explore the world through interactive maps illustrating geopolitical and geographic shifts over time.
Stack the States -elementary geography App.
Common Core App -need to check a standard on the fly this is the App for you.

Monkey in the Middle Apps - offer a whole range of Apps for middle schoolers: math, science, & vocabulary. The apps can be played in game mode or in flashcard mode.
The Poetry App -takes poetry to a whole new level. With this App students can read poetry, listen to and watch narrations of poetry, and create their own poetry.
Quizlet- a great way to create review material for students that they can use anywhere anytime. Quizlet will be updated each week with the current vocabulary list.
